Tiivistelmä
We live in a disruptive era of digitalization. Technology breakthroughs are becoming more accessible to average consumers daily. An upcoming evolution in the automotive industry is in the horizon.
Future markets are expected to continue changing at rapid paces leaving industry leaders and their teams less time to transform in order to accommodate new emerging needs. Change is ultimately inevitable and is best faced sooner than later. Such change(s) leave the companies to face new challenges which require them to adapt internally on an organizational level in order to respond new demands.
Design thinking is a field rooted in human centricity with enormous potential benefits for teams and companies to transform. The present Master Thesis explores and argues a number of those benefits from the perspective of Business Innovation Studio (BIS), an internal service design agency in Volkswagen Group Services Gmbh.
