Tiivistelmä
The research investigates innovative practices of what is now called “modern service design” and how eco-art therapy can affect the service design industry by using green and blue spaces. Drawing on my background in eco-art therapy and modern service design, I propose the concept of “Elevating Service Design and Advancing Sustainable Solutions through Innovative Practices.” This evaluation explores the origins and evolution of modern service design, addressing current responsibilities and needs from NGO’s, municipalities, and big corporations while highlighting the benefits of eco-art wellness workshops and their effects on the participants. The research draws insights gathered through interviews, observations, and concepts during eco-wellness workshops in various locations.

This research proposes an anti-anthropocentric perspective by merging poiesis and ecology. It integrates speculative service design methods and art therapy frameworks, drawing on outlined resources to justify the exclusion of conventional anthropocentric models like the "double diamond" (Design Council, n.d.). By employing this framework and utilizing methods such as volunteer perceptions, interviews, and observational notes, the research uncovers new findings that can foster environmentally conscious ideas in service design.

Ultimately, discovering a sense of natural systems introduced in natural settings, the development and adaptation of their senses evoking rare thought process can help create participatory creation, and service becomes livable systems for all as a healing and design stage for modern service design, leading to broaden the discussions regarding service design's role in enhancing ecological well-being as a public good.
